Franklin Lakes, NJ (June 2, 2020) – A Ridgewood man is now in custody following a crash in Franklin Lakes on Sunday, May 31st. The collision occurred near the Indian Trail Club on Franklin Lake Road. George Hill, 47, was reportedly driving a Jeep when he crashed his vehicle into a tree.

A 40-year-old woman traveling in the front-passenger seat sustained serious injuries in the accident. She was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment. Hill was charged with DWI and reckless driving. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is underway.
