Rahway, NJ – Pedestrian Accident on St George Ave

Rahway, NJ (April 26, 2020) – A 48-year-old man from Roselle, New Jersey was struck by a car on Saturday, April 25th, in Rahway. Linden Police and Fire units were called to the scene at around 12:15 p.m. The man was crossing at the 800 block of E. St. George Avenue (NJ-27) when he was hit by a 2019 Chevy Tahoe. 

The injured victim was transported to Newark University Hospital in critical condition. Neither the 40-year-old Linden woman driving the passenger or her passengers were injured in the crash. 

The crash is currently being investigated by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau. No further details on the crash are currently available.
